In Fredericton, Dr. Jennifer Russell, New Brunswick's chief medical officer of health, Dorothy Shephard, New Brunswick's health minister, and Premier Blaine Higgs provide an update on the province's response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. Health officials in New Brunswick have identified 23 new cases of COVID-19, a single-day record for new infections. Most of the new cases are in the Moncton and Saint John regions. (no interpretation)
