Quebec City Update on Suspected COVID-19 Variant Linked to Elementary School
In Quebec City, Dr. André Dontigny, the region's director of public health, provides an update on the suspected presence of COVID-19 variants at an elementary school in the city. The École Marguerite d’Youville was closed indefinitely on February 19 after suspected COVID-19 variant cases were detected in two people who frequent the school. All students and staff at the school have been asked to get COVID-19 tests within 48 hours and to self-isolate until further notice from public health officials.
