COVID-19: Canada Responds
N.B. COVID-19 Update: Grand Falls Moving to Orange Level – April 15, 2021
In Fredericton, Dr. Jennifer Russell, New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health, and Dorothy Shephard, the provincial health minister, provide an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. They announce that a section of Zone 4, including the communities of Grand Falls, Saint-Léonard, Drummond, New Denmark and Four Falls, will move from the red level of alert to the less restrictive orange level at midnight on April 15. Residents of these communities will be permitted to expand their group of contacts to a consistent group of 10. Restaurant dining rooms are permitted to open, and spas, fitness centres and entertainment centres can operate under a COVID-19 plan. Edmundston and the Upper Madawaska region, which are also part of Zone 4, will remain in lockdown. (no interpretation)
