Federal and Ont. Health Ministers on Canada’s Response to Coronavirus Outbreak

Federal Health Minister Patty Hajdu, Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott and Toronto Mayor John Tory hold a news conference following their meeting in Toronto on Canada’s response to the coronavirus outbreak. Earlier in the day the health ministers toured the city’s Sunnybrook Hospital, which cared for the patient who had Canada’s first confirmed case of the new coronavirus. Seven cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Canada: three in Ontario and four in British Columbia. (February 11, 2020)
