Selection Committee – December 9, 2020:
Senators nominate Pierrette Ringuette as the interim Senate Speaker Pro Tempore, the acting speaker whenever the speaker is unable to oversee a sitting of the Senate. Senator Ringuette’s nomination has yet to be confirmed through a vote via secret ballot in the Senate.
