The shock wave continues to be felt following the discovery of the remains of 215 Indigenous children in British Columbia, near a former residential school. Ottawa will provide a $ 27 million grant to support Indigenous communities who wish to initiate research around the sites that once housed residential schools to identify the remains of deceased residents.
