At a press conference in Ottawa, Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole outlines his party’s plan to combat climate change. The proposed measures include replacing the current federal carbon pricing with the Personal Low Carbon Savings Account, a zero-emission vehicle mandate, and a national clean-energy strategy. On March 25, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that the federal government’s carbon-pricing plan was constitutional.

During a virtual press conference, Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson comments on the Conservatives’ plan to fight climate change. The proposed measures include replacing the current federal carbon pricing with the Personal Low Carbon Savings Account. Minister Wilkinson is joined by Canadian Heritage Minister Steven Guilbeault.
