Pierre Lévesque v. Her Majesty the Queen
Pierre Lévesque v. Her Majesty the Queen (April 16, 2013) Case # 34417 This appeal concerns a guilty verdict returned by a jury on a charge of first degree murder. The appellant and his accomplice met several times to plan a theft involving weapons. The weapons were supposed to be used solely to secure the cooperation of the future victims and facilitate the theft. On April 9, 1994, inside a residence in Val Bélair, a police officer found the bodies of Béatrice Lavoie and Maurille Lepage. At issue in this appeal is whether additional instructions should be provided to the jury.
