Banking, Trade and Commerce - December 4, 2013
Minister of State for Finance Kevin Sorenson's testimony launches the committee's examination of the registered disability savings plan (RDSP), which was introduced in the 2007 federal budget. More than 65,500 RDSPs have been opened since 2008. The committee's study will focus on legal representation and the inability of some mentally disabled individuals to enter into a contract to establish a RDSP.
