Inquiries on CPAC
Commission Charbonneau - May 8, 2014 (Part 2 of 2)
The commission hears testimony from Claude Tremblay (former regional director - Côte Nord, Mauricie and Central Quebec, Transport Quebec) and Guy Chevrette (Quebec transport minister from 1998 to 2002). Justice France Charbonneau presides over the commission established by Quebec Premier Jean Charest to examine the awarding and management of public contracts in Quebec's construction industry. Charest announced the creation of this inquiry in November 2011 to address allegations of corruption and collusion in the Quebec construction industry and political party financing.
