Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics - April 26, 2018: MPs continue their study on the Facebook/Cambridge Analytica personal data mining controversy. Facebook officials estimated that over 600,000 Canadian users might have had their personal information compromised through third party applications without their consent. Participating in the study are University of Victoria professor Colin J. Bennett, Université Laval professor Thierry Giasson, and Mozilla Corporation’s director for trust and security Marshall Erwin.
