COVID-19: PM Announces $75M in New Aid for Indigenous People Living Off-Reserve
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau provides an update from outside his home in Ottawa on the federal government's response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic, including 75 million in new funding for organizations that address the needs of Indigenous people living off-reserve and in cities. On March 18, the federal government created a $305-million Indigenous Community Support Fund, which included $15 million for off-reserve and urban Indigenous services. (May 21, 2020))
