COVID-19: Canada Responds
COVID-19 in P.E.I.: No New Cases After Reported Cluster – July 6, 2020
At a news conference in Charlottetown, Dr. Heather Morrison, the chief public health officer of Prince Edward Island, provides an update on the province's five active cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). Four of the five cases appear to be related to one individual’s coming into contact, in Nova Scotia, with someone who had recently arrived from the United States. None of the cases are related to seasonal residents or the opening of a travel ‘bubble’ comprising the four Atlantic provinces. Dennis King, the premier of P.E.I., also takes part in the news conference. (no interpretation)
