Special Committee on Canada-China Relations - November 16, 2020: Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino faces questions from MPs about what that government is doing to assist asylum claimants fleeing Hong Kong due to China’s new national security law and crackdowns on pro-democracy activists. Minister Mendicino also discusses the government’s new initiative to grant more open work permits for student and youth from Hong Kong looking to resettle in Canada.
