COVID-19: Canada Responds
Ontario Releases Updated COVID-19 Projections – Nov. 26, 2020
In Toronto, Dr. David Williams (Ontario’s chief medical officer of health), Dr. Dirk Huyer (coordinator of the provincial outbreak response), and Adalsteinn Brown (the dean of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto) discuss Ontario’s updated modelling data concerning the possible impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the province. The modelling shows that the COVID-19 growth rates are slowing but that the numbers have not declined enough for the province to loosen any restrictions. The new projections also indicate that the number of intensive care unit hospitalizations will hit 200 in December. (no interpretation)
