COVID-19: Canada Responds
Saskatchewan Update on Vaccine Access, Isolation Requirements
In Regina, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe provides an update on the province's response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. In his remarks, Premier Moe says the province is enhancing access to first-dose vaccinations by opening pop-up clinics around the province in convenient locations such as malls, parks, and larger workplaces. He also announces that people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are asymptomatic will no longer have to self-isolate after coming into contact with a COVID-19-positive individual. Dr. Saqib Shahab, Saskatchewan’s chief medical officer of health, and SHA representatives Scott Livingstone and Derek Miller also take part in the briefing via videoconference.
