October 13, 14, 15: Federal New Democrats meet in Hamilton for their first in-person convention since 2018. Follow CPAC and cpac.ca for full coverage.
Delegates debate policy resolutions, prepare for the next election campaign, and hear from NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh.
Singh also faces a mandatory leadership review vote -- the same process that ousted Thomas Mulcair as leader in 2016.
This convention comes more than six years after Singh's leadership win -- and 18 months into the NDP's confidence and supply agreement with the Liberal government. And it comes on the heels of an NDP election win in Manitoba -- with Wab Kinew poised to become Canada's first First Nations provincial premier.
