Women and Gender Equality and Youth Minister Marci Ien and Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Marc Miller appear at the status of women committee, which is studying the relationship between resource development and violence against Indigenous women and girls.
Witnesses go before the industry committee to discuss proposed changes to the Competition Act and Copyright Act found in the budget implementation bill (C-19).
The justice committee considers amendments to Bill C-5.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney makes brief comments ahead of a cabinet meeting in Calgary.
He announced two days ago that he intends to step down as leader of the United Conservative Party and premier of Alberta. His announcement came following a leadership vote in which he won a narrow majority of 51.4 per cent approval from UCP members.
Kenney stated that the number does not provide adequate support for him to continue as leader. (Note: Audio problems with this video originate at the source)
