WATCH: Federal vaccine announcement and reaction
The federal government will suspend COVID-19 vaccine mandates for domestic travel and outbound international flights as of Monday, June 20. Vaccine mandates are also ending for federally regulated transportation workers, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and federal government employees.
A number of federal measures will remain in place, including vaccination requirements for cruise ship passengers and crew, as well as existing border measures affecting inbound international travellers to Canada.
