Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson is testifying at the federal inquiry into the federal emergency declaration.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected in the chamber for question period at 2:15pm ET / 11:15am PT.
This morning Trudeau commented on his government's economic measures aimed at helping Canadians amid the rising cost of living as he headed into the weekly cabinet meeting on Parliament Hill.
"Canadians know that there are headwinds ahead. We've seen rising interest rates, we've seen rising costs of living. Trudeau also responded to questions from reporters about military recruitment, the Canadian economy, and recession concerns.
