B.C. Premier John Horgan on Health Care in Richmond, COVID-19 Response
British Columbia Premier John Horgan holds a news conference in Richmond, B.C., to make an announcement about a new patient care tower for the local hospital. A larger tower with more hospital beds than originally planned and expanded services has been approved by the provincial government. The premier is joined at the announcement by Dr. Penny Ballem (chair of the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority board), Natalie Meixner (president and CEO, Richmond Hospital Foundation), Dr. Richard Chan (emergency physician at Richmond Hospital), and Adrian Dix (B.C. health minister).
