COVID-19: Quebec Raises Montreal, Quebec City to Highest Alert Level
In Montreal, Quebec Premier François Legault announces that the state of COVID-19 alert for Montreal and Quebec City will be raised from orange (moderate alert status) to red (maximum alert) on October 1, amid recent spikes in cases for the province's two largest cities. The region of Chaudière-Appalaches will also move to the red level.
