COVID-19: Canada Responds
In Charlottetown, Dr. Heather Morrison, the chief public health officer of Prince Edward Island, and Dennis King, the premier of P.E.I., provide an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. The premier announces that one of the province's existing and previously announced COVID-19 positive cases is of the highly transmissible B.1.1.7 variant, known as the U.K. variant.
