COVID-19: Canada Responds
Toronto Mayor John Tory Visits Vaccine Clinic for Indigenous Communities
Toronto Mayor John Tory speaks briefly with reporters as he visits a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for the city's Indigenous communities. The Auduzhe Mino Nesewinong is partnering with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health's Waakebiness-Bryce Institute of Indigenous Health at the University of Toronto to hold the outdoor clinic in a culturally safe environment. The mayor responds to questions about the possibility of the province entering stage two of its reopening plan ahead of schedule, given the decrease in daily COVID-19 cases. Toronto has reached a milestone in administering first doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to more than 75 per cent of adults and second doses to more than 25 per cent of adults.
