Indigenous Services Minister Discusses Safe Drinking Water For First Nations
At a news conference on Parliament Hill, Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller announces new federal funding of $1.5 billion to provide safe drinking water on First Nations reserves. He also confirms that the federal government will not be able to meet its commitment to lift all long-term drinking water advisories in First Nations communities by March 2021.
