2008 Canadian Constitutional Affairs Conference (Part 1 of 7)
Law students from the Université Laval and McGill University host a conference to explore the development and implementation of the Canadian Constitution, Quebec City, Que., January 18–19, 2008. This conference brings together constitutional experts and student delegations from faculties of law at various universities. This January 18th session features a panel discussion on the challenges of constitutional change. Patrick Monahan (dean of the Osgoode Hall Law School at York University), Daniel Turp (Parti Québécois MNA for Mercier), and Benoît Pelletier (Quebec minister responsible for intergovernmental affairs) present speeches on this topic. After speaking, panellists field questions from conference attendees.
