    MPs Launch All-Party Group to End Modern Slavery

    MPs Arnold Viersen (Conservative), Robert-Falcon Ouellette (Liberal), and Christine Moore (NDP) hold a news conference in Ottawa to announce the launch of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) to End Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. The APPG aims to raise awareness of the scale of modern slavery both in Canada and abroad. It will meet throughout the year to study, develop and advance policies to combat slavery and human trafficking in a cross-party forum. (April 26, 2018) (no interpretation)
