2018 Michener Award Ceremony
Governor General Julie Payette hosts the presentation ceremony for the 2018 Michener Award and the 2019 Michener-Deacon Fellowships for Investigative Journalism, at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. Founded in 1970 by then-governor general Roland Michener, the Michener Award recognizes news organizations for excellence in public-service journalism. (June 14, 2019)
