Vote 2019 Special
Rod Giltaca, CEO and executive director of the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights, and Tracey Wilson, vice-president of public relations, speak with reporters in Ottawa about their concerns with the Liberal party's proposed gun-control policy. The advocacy group is launching an "integrity tour" before the October 21 vote to counter what it says is an unfair policy against licensed gun owners. The Liberals are proposing a ban on semi-automatic assault rifles, as well as give the power for municipalities to restrict or ban handguns. The party will also initiate a buyback program for all legally purchased assault rifles at fair market value. (October 2, 2019) (no interpretation)
