PM Trudeau on New NAFTA Bill, Iran's Dual Nationality Position
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau speaks with reporters in Winnipeg on the final day of the a three-day meeting of the federal cabinet. He announces that the federal government will introduce a bill when Parliament resumes next week to ratify the CUSMA (new NAFTA) trade deal. The prime minister also faces questions on issues including Iran's refusal to recognize the dual nationality of Flight 752 victims, the government's consultations on medically-assisted dying, legislation to ban assault weapons, Manitoba's possible carbon tax, and security arrangements for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they prepare to live part-time in Canada.
