COVID-19: Canada Responds
In Etobicoke, Ontario Premier Doug Ford provides an update on the province's COVID-19 vaccination plan. He is joined by provincial Health Minister Christine Elliott, Ontario Solicitor General Sylvia Jones and retired General Rick Hillier, chair of Ontario’s COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Task Force. The premier announces that 325 pharmacies in Toronto, Kingston and Windsor will administer the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to people between the ages of 60 and 64 starting March 12. This update comes the same day as the millionth COVID-19 vaccine dose is expected to be administered in the province. (no interpretation)
