Christa Dickenson
A tri-sector leader with three decades of experience spanning broadcast television, news, technology, telecommunications, interactive digital media, and film financing, Christa's formative years were spent at CTV News, CPAC and Rogers.
Named as CEO to three organizations in succession over the past decade, she has led successful organizational transformations. The first was at the helm of provincial digital media trade association Interactive Ontario, followed by her appointment to modernize the federal crown agency Telefilm Canada. Today Christa is leading the not-for-profit broadcaster CPAC through a time of Broadcast landscape reform.
Reputed for an unparalleled talent for change management and motivating stakeholders, she mentors young executives, sharing with them her broad business acumen, board governance and government relations skills, along with her brand and advocacy expertise.
An inclusive leader, Christa values all voices. Her belief is that there are playing fields that still need to be levelled. Working toward this, she aims for transparency and emphasizes equity versus equality.
Christa is a highly effective advocate and bilingual spokesperson for the screen-based industries. She is the former Chair of the Board of Directors of CIAIC (The Canadian Interactive Alliance Interactive Canadienne), and former Board member of the National Film Board of Canada. Currently, Christa sits on the Board of Directors of Livres Canada Books and the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2024, she completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program.
Christa Dickenson was awarded in 2022 the Special Jury Award of Distinction by WIFT—Women in Film and Television. In 2021 she was recognized as “The 20 Most Powerful Women in Global Entertainment” by The Hollywood Reporter, having propelled Telefilm Canada, a 50-year-old Crown corporation, into an era of modernization, while acknowledging and breaking down barriers to access.
Jeremy Clark
Jeremy Clark is a results-driven leader with 20 years of experience in strategy, planning, problem solving, and execution.
Since joining CPAC Jeremy acted as Director of Network and Programming Operations and in 2023 was promoted to Vice President of Programming Operations and Communications. He has proven to be highly successful in building relationships, engaging stakeholders, and overcoming resistance.
Prior to joining CPAC, Jeremy worked for over 10 years for Rogers Television in a variety of roles managing all aspects of several local TV stations including programming, production, sales, engineering, marketing, and community relations.
Nicolle Arams
Nicolle Arams is an accomplished executive producer with over 30 years of broadcast experience, who joined CPAC in September 2022.
She started her career at CBC Saskatchewan in Regina, working her way up in the newsroom, from receptionist, associate producer, to producer in both television and radio for CBC and Radio-Canada. She joined CBC News Network's Power & Politics in 2010, working for several years as a producer and senior producer. Nicolle then took on the role of Executive Producer in 2020, when the show expanded from two to three hours of live daily political coverage. Some highlights for Nicolle during that time include the team's live coverage of the January 6, 2021, attack on Capitol Hill and the week Anchor Vassy Kapelos hosted Power & Politics from the Ukraine-Poland border at the start of Russia's war on Ukraine.
As a proud French Canadian from Saskatchewan, Nicolle remains very attached to her hometown of Gravelbourg.
She has a passion for public service broadcasting, her francophone roots and helping people understand why politics matters.
Eitan Weisz
Eitan is a professional engineer and seasoned senior business leader boasting an impressive track record across consulting, systems engineering, and business operations. Throughout his career, he has been a driving force behind a multitude of technology modernization, innovation, and transformation endeavours. His client portfolio spans diverse sectors, including broadcasting, healthcare, government, religious institutions, and education. Since becoming an integral part of CPAC in 2005, Eitan has been at the helm of the organization's technical operations, engineering, and IT teams, consistently steering them toward excellence.
